課程概述

In this course, students will develop their skills of practical eddy covariance flux measurement and data interpretation. It covers the theories of micrometeorology relating to eddy covariance method, principles of instruments (i.e., sonic anemometer and infrared gas analyzer), measurement techniques, and flux calculation including post signal processing and corrections. 

課程目標
This course aims to understand the fundamentals of measuring fluxes in a forest using eddy covariance technique, including principles of gas exchange and infra-red gas analysis; theory of eddy covariance measurement; and instrumentation of sonic anemometers and infra-red gas analyzers. This course also aims to gain the skill of practical flux measurement and flux calculation, including post signal processing, and corrections required.
